Thank you for joining and supporting my journey for 75 days! This is not a weight loss challenge. This is a mental toughness challenge. I am training my brain to work beyond excuses, beyond the average and beyond my current abilities. I can't wait to see what happens in 75 days.

Day 51: Sunday March 6th, 2022

45 Inside (outside) Workout: 45 minute recovery run (BEAUTIFUL DAY - I had to run!!)

+ Hanging, grip and core work (20mins)

45min Outside Workout: 45 Minute walk with the boys

Lunch: Chickpea chili and really bad, really heathy "cornbread" (not gonna lie, total kitchen failure - not good at all haha) + Burn

Dinner: Dark Chocolate Almond Kind Bar, chia seed pudding with protein powder + Burn

Dessert: Biocell Life Chews, Probiotic Pixie Stick and Trim Chocolate Pudding

Day 50 a.k.a. 50.5: Saturday March 5th, 2022

The REAL Day 50!!

Daily Quote: I already know what it feels like to give up. I want to see what happens if I don't.

Breakfast: homemade healthy bran muffins + Burn + Biocell Life Sport

I have been craving bran muffins for months and finally tried to make my own. Sugar and dairy free. High in fiber and I added proein powder to the dough. Not bad!

AM Snack: Protein Shake with Green and Reds Powder, Trebiotic and Fiber

45 Inside Workout: 90 minute Spartan Training at F3 in Kirkland

Lunch: Chickpea spaghetti and shrimp + Burn

45min Outside Workout: 45 Minute walk with the boys

PM Snack: Dark Chocolate Almond Kind Bar and Black Tea

Dinner: Caesar shrimp wraps with homemade dressing + Burn

Loving these! They are like... italian fresh rolls.

Day 44: Sunday February 27, 2022

Daily Quote: I got this.

Breakfast: English muffin with creamed cheese and Everything But The Bagel seasoning from Trader Joes (SO OBSESSED) + Pineapple + Burn + Biocell Life Chews

55min Outside Workout: 3.5+ Mile Obstacle Course Mud RUN!!

Lunch: English muffin with butter and 2 scoops protein in light apple juice (literally running out the door to the airport) + Burn

45min Inside Workout: Walked 30 minutes around the airport at a fast pace with 2 heavy bags. Then did 20 minutes of yoga and stretching, yes, right in the middle of the airport. I got several questions, 1 person joined in and got many many odd looks. Being super dirty and wearing my race headband didn't help the situation. It wasn't nearly as bad, though, as getting on the wrong rental car bus and making an entire bus of people stop, watch you dig out your suitcase from the bottom of the pile and then walk if shame off the crowded bus knocking everyone with your bags on the way out... oh yes, that was me today.

PM Snack: Carmel Chocolate Almond Kind Bar on the plane and crackers with cheese at the airport (There was NO food available at the airport aside from the little stores- UGH)

Dinner: Bean Taco from Taco Time (I had nothing to go at home and picked the healthiest option I could think of. I wasn't hungry but I knew I would feel terrible the next day if I didn't get enough calories) + Burn Supplement

Day 43: Saturday February 26, 2022

Daily Quote: It always feels impossible until it's done.

Spartan Super Day!!! Today was a blast. I had a great race. I am so excited to run tomorrow, in the Sprint. Loving the Arizona sun and warmth. 75 and Sunny! Which was great because I accidently locked the keys in the rental car and had an unexpected hour of sunbathing in the parking lot waiting for a locksmith. My life, ladies and gentlemen.

Breakfast: English muffin with creamed cheese + 2 scoops protein in light apple juice

+ Burn + Biocell Life Chews

2 x 45min Outside Workout: 6.5+ mile obstacle course mud run!!!

Lunch: 1 plain steak taco with onions... I was standing next to this random girl after the race that offered me a taco. Obviously, I had to take it. We are friends now, her name is Nicole. That's definitely a great way to win me over :)

Also, had half of 1 grilled chicken what-a-chicken sandwich from What-A-Burger. This was all nostalgia for me. I miss Texas and my fam there. It was also a compromize from In-N-Out, which I am avoiding during this challenge. HOWEVER.... That's 2 successful trips into In-N-Out territory, choosing not to eat there, without feeling restricted, punished or feeling like binging. And to be honest, I barelly thought about it.. only when driving and seeing the signs. Otherwise, it didn't even cross my mind. I can't even explain how much progress this is from the food obsessed, secret eating, binger that I used to be. It's absolutely the best feeling in the world… FREEDOM!! I was able to focus on my races and enjoying my time with super longtime, great friend Tracy and her beautiful family.. doesn't that sound better than spending my time obsessing about a cheesburger and fries? Intuitive eating has absolutly changed my entire life. SO. Greatful.


Side Note: While I acknowledge I am not following the strict rules of the traditional 75 Hard Challenge, I am creating my own version that allows for intuitive eating practices, forgiveness, true self growth, love, understanding, gratitude and happiness. I am so happy with my results so far and I believe I can help so many people with this approach. I am leaving town tomorrow and need to clean out the fridge. So this is what I had. I enjoyed the variety.
